UNIONE SPORTIVA TORRI

was founded in 1980 and it aims at promoting and diffusing sport among young people in order to form their personality both physically and morally. Year after year our Society has increased in dimensions and in sports results, obtaining A/2 series in handball and D series in volleyball.

At the present time the management is trying to develop and consolidate the youth programme. About 300 young people under the age of 18 participate in the handball and volleyball championships, subdivided in 14 teams belonging to different categories.

Our Society can also offer a large choice of activities (not agonistic) for  young and adults of both sexes.

About one thousand people are involved, directly or indirectly, in the Society.

Every year we organize an international tournament of juvenile handball: Città di Torri. In its last edition nearly one hundred and fifty teams were present.

The Society has also an internal newspaper called Bianco-Verde, thanks to which we  inform the local community about our sports events and general news.

The social colours are white and green.
